Ladolea Sea Salt is an unprocessed, raw and natural table salt. Pronounced “Afrina” by the locals, it is traditionally handpicked from the surface “Afros” of the salt ponds.
The LADOLEA Handmade ceramic bowl draws inspiration from the rich history of the Messolonghi region in Greece, home to an ancient salt cellar bowl dated to 300 B.C., called the ‘Skyphidion’. This ancient tableware was used for serving salt, spices, and herbs in the everyday family life of the era, in social gatherings, in the famous drinking parties (Symposiums) and in religious rituals.
